Perth to Exmouth
We travelled up the coast through some violent rain & floods; unfortunately Francois Peron NP was closed as was almost every dirt road & many beach access camp sites. Exmouth has been a delightful few days rest.

Perth
We became 'Granddad Steve & Nanny Sue' in Perth! Great to meet up & stay with Hayley & family who've just immigrated from the UK. It made for a very special birthday for me.

Alice to Perth
Alice Springs to Perth via The McDonnel Ranges, Kings Canyon, Uluru and the Great Central Road. Nearly 2400 kms (1500 miles) of mostly dirt & sand roads, with aboriginal communities, caged petrol pumps (to stop sniffing), camels & rain in the outback. It's a wonderful country!
Finally arrived in Perth to spend some time with Hayley & her family 'fresh off the boat' from the UK. Nice to meet & get to know my Granddaughters and all happening over my birthday - it doesn't get much better.
Due to head north again on Friday - will post more pics as internet allows
