19/8 A bitterly cold morning. We loved being camped up on the Cooper Creek. The view, birds and the fact that no one else was there were tempting us to stay but the cold wind was too much.
At this point we knew we were on our way home!
We spent the next few days at Bindigolly Lakes, Currawinya National Park, Bollon and Lemontree Weir.

The wind pushed us homeward and we arrived back on Tuesday 23rd.
We have had a great trip again. Very much a desert and outback experience, different from our ’09 trip, but every bit as spectacular and there was nothing but us for hundreds of kilometers some days. No internet reception. No power, other than Solar, until we started driving in the car again. Just how we wanted it.
We have had some great feedback from our ‘followers’ and we thank you all. I’d like to say a special thanks to Peter and Judy for their help in identifying my ever so many bird photos.
See you on the road next time…….
